Award Recipients
The Maryland Performance Excellence Awards program has assessed nearly 200 award applications and recognized many organizations since its inception in 1983. From 1983 to 1996, top award recipients were recognized with the U.S. Senate Productivity Award, presented by Maryland’s U.S. Senators. In 1997, the Maryland Quality Awards were added to recognize organizations as they progressed on their improvement journeys. Since 1997, all organizations that submit an application have been recognized.
